Circle, a publicly listed company and issuer of one of the largest US dollar stablecoins globally, has partnered with cryptocurrency exchange Bybit. According to a joint announcement made on Monday, the collaboration is set to increase the liquidity and usability of the USDC stablecoin.

The companies stated that “the partnership aims to expand USDC access across Bybit’s global ecosystem, enhance the liquidity of the world’s largest regulated stablecoin, and solidify Bybit’s commitment to transparency and trust as a regulatory-compliant platform.”

This partnership comes at a time when USDC is witnessing significant growth, with its market capitalization nearing an impressive $80 billion.

Integrating USDC Throughout Bybit

A spokesperson from Bybit shared with Cointelegraph that the partnership with Circle will deepen USDC integration within the exchange’s various offerings, which include spot trading, derivatives, and payment channels, all while adhering to a transparent and compliant regulatory framework.

The exchange is actively collaborating with Circle to boost liquidity, improve fiat on-ramps and off-ramps, and extend cross-chain support. According to the representative, Bybit has been integrating USDC for several years, first implementing it for spot and perpetual trading pairs, and later expanding its use to savings products, institutional settlements, conversion tools, and fiat payment channels.

“Currently, USDC is well-established within our ecosystem, and this strategic partnership enhances our underlying infrastructure with improved liquidity, quicker settlements, and expanded use cases,” stated Bybit.

USDC’s Growing Market Capitalization

The collaboration between Bybit and Circle marks the culmination of a particularly strong growth period for USDC, which has nearly doubled its market cap since the beginning of 2025. Data from CoinGecko reveals that USDC’s market capitalization has surged 77%, increasing from around $44 billion to $78 billion as of this past Sunday.
