During his appearance on the TBPN podcast, he elaborated on his vision for an on-chain lifecycle where founders can easily form their startups, secure seed funding, and finally take their companies public through tokenized equity.

“You can envision this entire lifecycle operating on-chain,” Armstrong remarked. He emphasized that this transformation could “boost the number of startups raising capital and launching worldwide.” He noted that the need for banks or lawyers to facilitate global transactions would diminish as funding could be accessed instantly using on-chain smart contracts. Once the funds are secured, founders can initiate revenue generation, accept cryptocurrency payments, access financing, and even take their companies public directly on-chain.

Revolutionizing Fundraising with Blockchain

Armstrong pointed out that the current fundraising landscape can be cumbersome. He proposed an on-chain approach to fundraising to make capital acquisition “more efficient, fair, and transparent.” This vision is supported by Coinbase’s recent acquisition of the fundraising platform Echo, which has already assisted over 200 projects in raising more than $200 million.
