In a fresh announcement, Coinbase disclosed that it has added five new assets to its listing roadmap. This roadmap outlines tokens that Coinbase is considering for potential future listings. The exchange clarified that the final decision to list any asset depends on support from market makers as well as the provision of robust technical infrastructure. The newly added assets include Humidifi (WET), zkPass (ZKP), Plume (PLUME), Hyperlane (HYPER), and Jupiter (JUPITER).

These recent developments coincided with the Coinbase Premium Index—a metric reflecting the price difference of Bitcoin between Coinbase and other exchanges—once again turning positive after remaining negative for an entire month.

Throughout November, the index indicated outflows of capital from the US. However, the positive turn in early December suggests that sentiment among both institutional and retail investors is starting to improve. Leon Waidmann, Head of Research at the Onchain Foundation, anticipates that the stablecoin market capitalization could soon reach new all-time highs.
