The company first entered this sector in 2024, introducing a “sports event trading” feature for US users in December of that year. Co-founder and CEO Kris Marszalek noted that the sector has seen significant growth since then.

“We’ve experienced a 40x growth in weekly activity in our prediction market business over the last six months,” Marszalek stated, explaining that such rapid expansion warranted its own dedicated platform rather than maintaining the services within Crypto.com’s existing offerings.
