Nate Geraci, co-founder of ETF Institute, revealed via a post on X that Grayscale is converting its existing Chainlink private trust into a fully listed ETF. This will enable US investors to gain direct spot exposure to LINK through a regulated investment vehicle for the first time.

Bloomberg Intelligence Predicts December 2 Launch

The anticipated launch aligns with forecasts from Bloomberg Intelligence. Eric Balchunas, a senior ETF analyst, indicated that December 2 is likely the debut date, referring to internal listing data suggesting Grayscale’s product is awaiting approval soon.

Balchunas has also highlighted that this could just be the start, predicting that the US market might experience a surge of over 100 new digital-asset-linked ETFs in the next six months. He noted that at least five new spot crypto funds are expected to enter the market within days.

This influx of new products follows a year where regulatory changes in Washington, D.C., have eased the restrictions on crypto-backed investment options.

Grayscale's Chainlink ETF will be formed by transforming the company’s original LINK trust, which was launched in late 2020, into a public-market fund. Similar to other converted products from Grayscale, this fund will aim to track the spot price of LINK and incorporate staking-related returns whenever permitted.

The Canary Capital XRP ETF (XRPC) launched with impressive popularity, garnering $58 million in net inflows, marking the highest amount raised on its opening day among all ETFs this year, narrowly surpassing the Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL), which debuted with $57 million.

BSOL quickly emerged as a leading success story in 2025, amassing over $660 million in assets within three weeks without experiencing any outflows.

As reported, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has approved the listing of Grayscale’s XRP and Dogecoin ETFs, allowing both products to start trading on Monday. NYSE Arca, the ETF-focused arm of the exchange, filed the necessary certifications on Friday to confirm the listing and registration of the Grayscale XRP Trust ETF Shares and Grayscale Dogecoin Trust ETF Shares under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.

Additionally, Bitwise Asset Management has introduced the Bitwise Dogecoin ETF in response to growing investor interest in altcoin exposure.
