According to OKX, for crypto payments to gain more acceptance, they need to present clear advantages. However, those obstacles are starting to diminish, especially in Europe, where the use of stablecoins is growing, wallet technologies are advancing, and regulatory frameworks, such as the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) rules, offer clearer guidelines for compliant products.

OKX Pay acts as the primary wallet, enabling users to hold stablecoins for regular expenses such as food, transport, or shared bills. Where local regulations allow, OKX Pay also facilitates interactions with decentralized finance protocols and real-world asset applications in a compliant manner.
