In a blog post released on Tuesday, Ripple announced that the platform merges traditional cash management with digital asset operations within a single interface.

Ripple stated that the new platform seeks to address long-standing inefficiencies encountered by finance teams, such as extended settlement durations, lack of transparency in international payments, and dependency on spreadsheets for reconciling traditional cash with digital assets.

According to Ripple, the Treasury platform allows for cross-border settlements to be completed in just three to five seconds using Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin, in contrast to traditional payment systems that may require several business days.

Additionally, the platform offers a consolidated dashboard for managing both fiat and digital assets, eliminating manual processes through direct API integrations that treat digital asset platforms as functional equivalents of banks.

Ripple previously indicated that the integration of GTreasury would facilitate access to short-term liquidity markets, which is a part of its broader institutional offerings.

This feature is expected to be supported through prime broker Hidden Road, acquired by Ripple last year for $1.25 billion, providing corporate clients enhanced tools to manage liquidity while maintaining existing controls.

Ripple and GTreasury aim to assist customers in utilizing idle cash more effectively while adhering to established reporting standards and treasury governance frameworks.

Ripple Receives UK Regulatory Approval Amid Global Growth

The launch coincides with Ripple's extensive expansion into regulated markets. Earlier this month, the company secured approval from the UK’s financial regulator for an Electronic Money Institution license and registration for crypto assets.

Ripple has also obtained preliminary approval for a similar license in Luxembourg, positioning the company to broaden its payment services across Europe.

In the United States, Ripple submitted an application for a national banking license with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in July 2025, aligning with numerous crypto companies keen on deeper integration with traditional financial systems.

Recently, Ripple has gained approvals in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and partnered with institutions like Zand Bank and Mamo.
