Securitize Europe Brokerage and Markets, SV SA, obtained its Investment Firm license in December 2024, allowing for order execution, custody, transfer-agent services, and the management of market infrastructure.

This license has been extended across major EU countries such as Germany, France, Italy, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands.

Additionally, the authorization allows Securitize to assume the role of a digital transfer agent in Spain, which enables the comprehensive management of tokenized assets throughout their lifecycle.

Prominent global asset management firms, including KKR, Apollo, and J.P. Morgan, have already utilized customized blockchains on Avalanche for their tokenized fund launches.

The approval for Securitize comes amid increasing interest and investment from institutional players in the Avalanche ecosystem throughout 2024 and 2025.

In September 2024, AgriFORCE Growing Systems announced its plan to rebrand as AVAX One and raise $550 million, aiming to acquire over $700 million in AVAX tokens.

The initiative seeks to position the company as the first Nasdaq-listed firm dedicated to maximizing ownership of Avalanche’s native asset.

Furthermore, Avalanche Treasury Co. announced intentions for a $1 billion purchase of AVAX tokens, supported by a $675 million SPAC merger, with Bart Smith, former head of Susquehanna Crypto, as CEO.

These treasury efforts attracted participation from major crypto investors, including Pantera Capital, Galaxy Digital, Dragonfly Capital, FalconX, and Kraken, underscoring the institutional belief in Avalanche’s stable market potential.
