According to data from Farside Investors, Solana ETFs experienced their most significant day of capital inflows during this seven-day period, drawing in around $16.6 million. As a result, the total net inflow into SOL ETFs reached $674 million.

The launch of SOL ETFs in the U.S. began in July with the REX-Osprey's staked SOL ETF, followed by Bitwise's BSOL Solana ETF in October. Industry analyst James Seyffart from Bloomberg highlighted that this was one of the year’s hottest ETF launches.

The influx of funds signals that institutional and traditional finance investors remain interested in SOL, despite the decline in its price and other metrics such as total value locked (TVL)—the amount of capital held in smart contracts.

SOL Faces Challenges Amid Price Drops

Solana's market cap has dropped by more than 2% in the past week. Current open interest for SOL perpetual futures, which do not have an expiry date, exceeds $447 million.

Since reaching an all-time high of $295 in January, largely due to the launch of the Trump memecoin on its network, SOL has plummeted nearly 55%. SOL's price is currently facing resistance in the $140-$145 range and has struggled to break past these levels throughout December, despite the recent launch of SOL ETFs and increasing interest from the crypto sector and regulatory bodies regarding internet capital markets.
