CryptoQuant contributor MorenoDV noted, “We are now entering the same zone seen in 2019, 2020, and 2022, periods where the Sharpe Ratio spent time at structurally depressed levels before new multi-month trends emerged.”

Typically, the Sharpe ratio tends to decline further into negative numbers before it starts to recover, pulling the price along with it. Its last significant low point was in November 2022, which occurred approximately two months before the conclusion of the last crypto bear market. Moreno highlighted that a reversal of this metric needs to happen before investors can feel reassured.

"Bitcoin isn’t yet signaling a trend recovery, but it is indicating that the risk-adjusted scenario is becoming more appealing for future returns,” he emphasized.
