Nate Geraci, president of NovaDius Wealth, praised Bitcoin ETF investors for their "diamond hands" in the face of market volatility. Throughout a 50% price drop, these investors have remained largely stable, selling off their assets minimally compared to the substantial inflows they recorded since entering the market in January 2024.

Geraci noted that since Bitcoin reached an all-time high (ATH) of $126,200 in October 2025, there have only been $6.5 billion in sell-offs. Though significant, this amount is small compared to the $55 billion influx seen in the same period.

Bitcoin spot ETFs in the U.S. had an explosive start upon their introduction, pulling in billions within just a few days. Despite initial selling pressure from the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), the overall market saw healthy inflows, primarily thanks to companies like BlackRock and Fidelity.

Data from Sosovalue indicates that the last four months have presented challenges for Bitcoin ETFs. In November, the funds faced a net outflow of $3.48 billion, reversing all the purchases made the previous month. The trend of negative outflows continued, with December seeing $1.09 billion, January $1.61 billion, and February currently totaling $179 million.

However, there are signs that the market may be turning around, with three consecutive days of inflows surpassing $1 billion. If this trend persists, it could fully reverse the current monthly outflow trend. The ongoing resilience of ETF investors is also a positive sign. Long-term Bitcoin holders have encountered multiple 50% drawdowns in the past, yet recent activity among newer investors suggests they are opting to buy the dip rather than panic.
