This signifies that recent price momentum is weakening against a longer-term trend, and it signals an increase in selling pressure, often leading to a prolonged downturn.

The conventional version of the death cross occurs when the 50-day moving average crosses below the 200-day moving average, and this pattern serves as an essential bearish indicator for Bitcoin, according to Martinez's observations.
