Alex Thorn, head of research at Galaxy Digital, presented a balanced perspective in his latest evaluation of Bitcoin’s price. He suggested that the most intense phase of downward pressure is likely behind us. Key indicators he mentioned include Bitcoin trading near its 200-week moving average and realized price—both historically significant technical levels.

Moreover, over half of all Bitcoin currently in circulation is trading at a loss, and the relative strength index has reached levels commonly associated with market capitulation. Added to this, various on-chain indicators are hinting that a bottom might be forming.

However, Thorn cautioned that even if the most severe part of the decline has passed, there could still be future challenges for Bitcoin's price. He explained that market bottoms typically take time to fully establish, and extended periods of sideways movement are a possibility. Additionally, a downturn in the stock market could apply further pressure on digital assets, and the broader market still seems to lack a strong catalyst to sustain upward momentum.
