Data shows that this calm stands in contrast to earlier in February when, on February 5-6, short-term holders sent 89,000 BTC to exchanges at a loss within just 24 hours, indicating panic selling. Since then, such loss-driven transactions have steadily decreased, and the recent tensions in Iran have not caused this trend to reverse.

Moreno, an analyst at CryptoQuant, emphasized the importance of this data, as markets often stabilize after the most anxious sellers have exited. If short-term holder inflows remain low, it could signal that sellers are becoming exhausted, potentially paving the way for a price recovery. Conversely, if inflows increase suddenly, it might mean the selling pressure persists.
