Strategy’s Journey in Bitcoin Investment

Strategy [MSTR] is recognized as the first public holding company for Bitcoin and has played a pivotal role in its integration into traditional finance. Initially, Strategy invested around $600 million in Bitcoin. As they progressed, they leveraged convertible notes, which surged to $12 billion. The CEO revealed that this latter move wasn't optimal for long-term sustainability. In 2025, Strategy raised $7 billion as they transitioned into a digital credit company, issuing perpetual preferred equity instruments.
