When asked if this includes a potential crisis with dollar-denominated assets, she noted that the IMF is evaluating “all kinds of scenarios” as part of its finding process.

Additionally, President Trump’s recent remarks have increased pressure on the dollar. During a press conference in Iowa, he downplayed the dollar's recent slide, asserting that the currency was “doing great.” “No, I think it’s great…I think the value of the dollar, look at the business we’re doing. The dollar’s doing great,” he remarked.
