Bitcoin's Resistance Ahead of November's Close

Bitcoin has recently revisited a significant resistance level for the first time in a week, peaking at $93,092 on Friday morning before pulling back. The leading cryptocurrency has struggled to maintain important support levels during November's corrections and has been trading below $100,000 for nearly two weeks.

Just a week ago, BTC dropped below $90,000 during the latest market correction, hitting a low of $80,600, the lowest it has been in seven months. Nevertheless, Bitcoin led this week’s recovery, reclaiming important levels over the last few days.

Observers are noting that Bitcoin is currently testing a crucial re-accumulation zone, which ranges from $82,000 to $93,000. This is the area where the price consolidated following previous downturns, including the Q1 market correction.

Analyst Rekt Capital pointed out that BTC bounced back more than 7% from the local bottom and has returned to the high-end resistance level during Friday’s recovery. Currently, Bitcoin aims to hold the upper part of its local range, retesting the $90,000-$91,000 area as support after encountering resistance.

Last week’s close aligned with Bitcoin’s monthly range, setting a potential support floor around $86,000, which could establish a new trading range between this floor and the $93,000 resistance. According to Rekt Capital, for Bitcoin to build on its recent momentum and potentially retest its two-month downtrend line—currently near the $96,000 mark—it must close this week (coinciding with the end of November) above $93,500 and convert this level into support.

“The ~$93,500 level happens to be a Four-Year Cycle level. History indicates that the price should ideally close above this level to finish 2025 on a positive note,” Rekt Capital further explained on X.

Market analyst Ted Pillows weighed in on Bitcoin's short-term outlook as it confronts resistance around the $92,000-$93,000 levels. He posits that if Bitcoin can reclaim this area, it may drive the price up to the $98,000-$100,000 range in the coming weeks.

Conversely, he warned that if Bitcoin fails to reclaim this level, the price could dip below $88,000. Earlier this week, he emphasized the importance of regaining and maintaining this level as support in the short term; otherwise, a rejection could lead to a significant drop below recent lows.

Similarly, Daan Crypto Trades observed that the continuous sell-off in previous weeks has created numerous marginally lower highs, leading to a substantial liquidity zone between $97,000 and $98,000. This region corresponds to essential horizontal price levels on larger timeframes, making it a focal point to watch as BTC continues to consolidate within a tight range.

The trader speculated that if BTC's price declines, the $88,000 level might serve as a reasonable point for a higher low. However, should the price remain above the $91,800 level, it might trigger another test of the $93,000 resistance.

Ultimately, he cautioned that the market might experience a “choppy environment in the short term” around Thanksgiving, a time typically characterized by lower volume and liquidity.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is priced at $90,500, reflecting a 1.1% decrease within the daily timeframe.
