He pointed out that the commodity classification would empower U.S. banks to utilize XRP for international transactions through Ripple’s payment system without the uncertainty that might arise from any future regulatory reclassification.

According to Daodu, this legal clarity would foster institutional confidence and stimulate substantial inflows into XRP-related investment products, such as exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

Predictions for XRP Price Targets

Daodu referenced predictions made by Geoffrey Kendrick of Standard Chartered, who previously set a target price of $8 for XRP by 2026, assuming the CLARITY Act passes. Kendrick’s analysis forecasts between $4 billion and $8 billion in total ETF inflows by the end of the year if the bill advances.

Many analysts concur that if the legislation is approved, XRP could reach a price range of $5 to $10, with an $8 target suggesting a market valuation of roughly $490 billion. Daodu argues that this figure is realistic if banks begin using XRP for genuine transactions instead of merely relying on it as a trading asset.

Going a step further, Daodu outlines potential scenarios for additional price increases: if the CLARITY Act is approved, along with Ripple’s success in securing a master account at the Federal Reserve by late 2026, some models suggest that XRP could trade within a range of $15 to $30 with full bank adoption.

The CLARITY Act cleared the House in July 2025 with a vote of 294–134 and progressed through the Senate Agriculture Committee on January 29. However, the Senate Banking Committee has not scheduled a markup since January, and negotiators have yet to release a reconciled draft that meets the needs of both crypto and banking stakeholders.

However, on Wednesday, pro-crypto Senator Cynthia Lummis noted a renewed push when she indicated that the Banking Committee plans to advance the bill in April, following the Easter recess.
