The inflows into crypto ETFs portrayed a cautious sentiment across the sector. On October 30, US Bitcoin spot ETFs experienced a significant net outflow of $488 million, with all twelve funds reporting no inflows.

Similarly, Ethereum spot ETFs faced a net outflow of $184 million, with no inflows across nine different products. However, Solana spot ETFs enjoyed a net inflow of $37.33 million, marking three consecutive days of positive inflows.

Most central bank meetings this week met analyst predictions, but the most significant movement came from Fed Chair Jerome Powell, who resisted calls for a rate cut in December, prompting traders to reevaluate their projections about monetary policy easing.

Traders Reassess Fed Rate Cut Expectations

According to Riya Sehgal, a research analyst at Delta Exchange, the cryptocurrency sector fell by 2.37% in the past 24 hours due to diminishing risk appetite following Powell's comments.

"Even with a 25 basis point rate cut, traders are revising down their predictions for future easing, now pricing in a lower likelihood of another cut in December. The ETF flows reflect this cautious sentiment," she stated. "In the derivatives market, open interest dropped nearly 5%, and funding rates turned negative, signaling an increase in short positions."

She noted that the next potential market-moving event could be the US jobs report scheduled for November 1. "A robust jobs report could further deepen the sell-off, but any signs of cooling could provide a bounce for cryptocurrencies."

Unless outflows from ETFs decrease and Bitcoin can break through key resistance levels, it is expected that Bitcoin will remain within the range of $107,000 to $113,000.
