On October 23, David Sacks expressed his belief that the U.S. is in an "excellent position" to pass long-awaited cryptocurrency legislation with bipartisan support before the close of 2025. In a post on X, he highlighted productive discussions with leading Democratic lawmakers aimed at advancing crypto policy.

"This will finally bring much-needed regulatory clarity to the crypto industry, building on the success of the Genius Act passed into law by President Trump earlier this year," Sacks stated.

Senate Democrats recently convened with top digital asset executives to discuss the future of crypto market structure legislation. The discussion, led by Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, included notable figures such as Galaxy CEO Mike Novogratz, Chainlink CEO Sergey Nazarov, Kraken CEO Jesse Powell, and Solana Policy Institute President Kristin Smith.

"The good news is there is strong bipartisan support and will to get this market structure legislation done," noted Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong in remarks to CNBC, mentioning that Thanksgiving could serve as a potential deadline for finalizing the bill.
