The FCA has recently granted approval to ClearToken’s CT Settle platform. This development positions the London-based company to provide institutional-level settlement services for cryptocurrencies and tokenized assets using a delivery-versus-payment model.

With this authorization, ClearToken gains recognition as an Authorised Payment Institution and a registered crypto asset firm. It also plans to seek further approval from the Bank of England through its Digital Securities Sandbox.

Amid the growing appetite among regulators for digital asset regulations, analysts at IG Group project that the UK's cryptocurrency market could expand by approximately 20% over the next year, thanks to new regulatory clarity and infrastructure enhancements.

This anticipated growth is evident in the recent decision by KR1, a prominent British blockchain investment firm, to transition its stock listing from the Aquis Stock Exchange to the main market of the London Stock Exchange (LSE).
