The funding process is powered by ZeroHash, which facilitates the transfer of stablecoins across popular blockchain networks including Ethereum, Solana, and Base. Once the stablecoins are received, they are promptly converted into U.S. dollars and credited to the client's brokerage account.

Importantly, Interactive Brokers does not impose any deposit fees for this service. However, ZeroHash charges a conversion fee of 0.30%, with a minimum fee of $1 for changing stablecoins into USD.

This development addresses the typical delays and costs associated with traditional bank wire transfers, particularly for international clients. Industry data indicates that cross-border wire transfers often take between one and three business days to settle and can incur fees ranging from $25 to $50 per transaction.
