What Is Bitcoin?

Bitcoin (BTC) is the first digital currency in the world, created in 2009 by an anonymous person (or group) known as Satoshi Nakamoto.

How Does Bitcoin Work?

Bitcoin operates through the blockchain, a chain of data blocks connected and verified by a Proof of Work (PoW) mechanism.

Miners use computers to solve complex mathematical problems and verify transactions.
Once verified, transactions are permanently recorded on the blockchain.
Miners are rewarded with newly created Bitcoin, a process known as mining.

This structure ensures that no one can forge, duplicate or reverse a transaction, making Bitcoin one of the most secure financial systems ever created.
