Digital asset treasuries (DATs) are at the forefront of a bullish recovery in crypto stocks as markets stabilize after a substantial leveraging sell-off at the beginning of December. On Tuesday, Ether DATs showed impressive gains. For example, Nasdaq-listed EthZilla (ETHZ) rose by 12.35%, reaching $10.80 during after-hours trading according to Google Finance.

BitMine, which is known to be the largest Ether treasury, saw its shares skyrocket to $32.40 in after-hours trading, achieving a remarkable increase of over 650% since they introduced their Ether strategy in late June. Additionally, Thumzup Media Corp (TZUP), a mining and crypto investment firm, was the top-performing crypto stock of the day with a 13.25% gain on the Nasdaq.

Bitcoin DAT Stocks Lagging Behind

While several altcoin treasury companies outperformed Bitcoin-related stocks, GD Culture Group (GDC), which operates as a virtual content production entity alongside a TRUMP memecoin treasury, saw its stock climb by 11.4%. This reflects the broader performance trend among digital treasuries in the current market.

On the other hand, the world’s largest crypto treasury strategy, held by Michael Saylor’s company MSTR, managed to gain only 5.78% on Tuesday, peaking at an intraday high of $188. However, it remains down by 37.4% since the beginning of the year, largely due to losses incurred since the crypto market downturn in mid-October.

BitMine Capitalizes on Dip

BitMine is actively purchasing Ether at current price lows, reportedly acquiring an additional 7,080 ETH valued at approximately $19.8 million on Monday and 18,345 ETH worth around $55 million on Tuesday, according to data from Lookonchain and Arkham Intelligence. Nevertheless, these transactions have not been formally verified by the company.

As a result of this activity and market dynamics, Ether prices rebounded, reaching a five-day peak of $3,060 in early Wednesday trading.
