Data from Glassnode reveals that spot ETH ETFs are finally beginning to show “the first signs of life” after witnessing several weeks of outflows. The recent 28% recovery in total net ETF assets since November 21 suggests that demand may be improving as we approach year-end.

However, this recovery is still modest compared to the highs of $32 billion that were achieved in early October, indicating that institutional confidence is not fully back yet.

Supporting this perspective, CryptoQuant data shows that net taker volume remains in the negative at –$138 million, although this is a significant improvement from the drastic –$500 million seen in October. This shift suggests that the market, which was previously dominated by aggressive sellers during the September-October downturn, is starting to stabilize.

The 30-day moving average of net taker volume indicates an upward trend in its lows, reminiscent of patterns observed in early 2025, when ETH experienced a 3X rally followed by a new all-time high. If this trajectory continues, a positive change in taker volume activity could signal the start of a bullish breakout for ETH in the coming weeks.

Ether Price Consolidation and What It Might Mean

Currently, Ether is testing the $3,100 to $3,180 order block on the four-hour chart, which could serve as a demand zone. The price movement continues to respect its ascending channel; however, momentum is clearly diminishing, indicating a critical point for the market.

In a bullish scenario, if ETH can maintain support in this demand block and channel, it could rebound towards the daily 200-EMA. A successful break above $3,450 would invalidate the recent rejection and pave the way towards a $3,900 resistance level.
