Analytics firm Santiment reports that this increase can be linked to "shark wallets," which consist of holders possessing between 1,000 and 10,000 ETH, translating to approximately $3.2 million to $32 million at current prices.

This group of influential investors has been consistently accumulating ETH, and Santiment highlights that these wallets have played a crucial role in the performance of the second-largest altcoin throughout this year. Notably, the Ethereum network has witnessed a significant influx, adding 190,000 new wallets in just one day, indicating strong demand from investors.

The latest price surge aligns with the recent launch of the Fusaka upgrade, which represents Ethereum's most recent major network hard fork.
