Currently, Dogecoin is trading at around $0.14, experiencing a slight increase, while Bitcoin is hovering around $92,300. In this context, YouTube analyst VisionPulsed has issued a fresh caution, suggesting that Dogecoin could revisit the $0.05–$0.06 range over the next year, extending the timeline into 2026.

In a video released on December 11 titled “WHY IS DOGECOIN CRASHING!? BITCOIN RALLY COMING OR BULL TRAP FOR 5 CENT DOGE in 2026!,” VisionPulsed outlines his theory, emphasizing that if Bitcoin enters a bearish market, Dogecoin will likely decline without additional prompting.

He states, “The base case here is that Bitcoin has entered a bear market," identifying key indicators he monitors, such as an 8-day moving average around $102,000 and the Gaussian Channel. He explains that as long as Bitcoin remains below approximately $103,000, he believes the path for Dogecoin will trend downward toward five cents.

However, he stresses that this wouldn’t be a straightforward descent. VisionPulsed highlights a “chop zone” where traders often get caught in volatility, trying to capitalize on short-term price movements. He refers to this precarious phase as “the peanut gallery."

His analysis draws parallels to a familiar pattern from 2022: even during Bitcoin's brief rallies, Dogecoin continued to hit lower lows. “There’s no guarantee that Dogecoin will rally. While Dogecoin had a lift during Bitcoin's last pump, you can see Bitcoin made higher lows throughout the spring as Dogecoin saw lower lows,” he remarks.

VisionPulsed notes that Dogecoin may first reach an “unfinished” price zone closer to $0.10 before potentially hitting the lower target again, depending on Bitcoin’s performance. This sequence is crucial because it often leads traders to make miscalculations. If Bitcoin bounces, Dogecoin may follow, but that is not assured.

He emphasizes that while numerous indicators suggest a Bitcoin rally may occur, “there are no guarantees” that Dogecoin will benefit from it, comparing the current market to MicroStrategy's tendency to stagnate before a sharp movement.

Timing is also a critical factor in his analysis. He subscribes to the notion that markets often produce significant rallies about 140–150 days following a major peak, usually followed by long periods without revisiting those highs. VisionPulsed references historical cycles from 2014, 2018, 2019, and 2022 to illustrate that once Bitcoin settles into a bearish pattern, it typically remains in that state until the market has adequately addressed the prevailing downturn.

So, what does the potential drop to $0.05 signify? It represents a decline of approximately 64% from the current price of $0.14. While this sounds steep, such volatility is not unheard of in Dogecoin's history, making the prediction resonate with some traders, despite their reluctance to embrace it.

According to VisionPulsed, the real opportunity for Dogecoin lies in Bitcoin breaking out. If Bitcoin achieves a new all-time high by February, he posits that the bearish outlook for Dogecoin will be invalid.
